Organized by Unispektrum d.o.o. On March 24 and 25, 2026, in the building of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro, an education was held on the topic “The importance and role of the compliance function and the protection of personal data in practice”.

This education once again confirmed the importance of professional knowledge, practical application of regulations and professional exchange of experiences in strengthening modern management systems, especially in the areas of regulatory compliance, risk management and personal data protection.

A special contribution to the quality and successful implementation of education was made by lecturers with significant professional and professional experience in the field of business compliance and personal data protection. The key lecturer at the education was Acting. Executive Director of Unispektrum Dr. Milena Žižić, Lead Implementer CMS ISO 37301 and PECB trainer for Southeast Europe, who through expertly based presentations and a practical approach especially contributed to the understanding of modern challenges and standards in the field of compliance function. A significant contribution was made by Azra Hasanović, B.Sc. lawyer, prof. Dr. Dijana Medenica Mitrović and Elsa Kujović, B.Sc. lawyer, whose presentations further enriched the content of the education.

Thanks to the high level of expertise of the lecturer, the participants were presented with current regulatory requirements, practical challenges in the application of compliance standards, as well as models for improving internal procedures and personal data protection systems in a real business environment. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of integrating the compliance function as a strategic element of management, and on the need for its further development in accordance with modern international standards and best practices.

Through a carefully designed work program, the participants acquired useful knowledge and concrete guidelines for improving regulatory compliance, strengthening the culture of responsibility and integrity, as well as for the development of sustainable and efficient business systems.
